A new ASME.org Group that continues the discussion the ASME Decision Point Dialogues started in April in Washington, D.C., continues to grow and bring new conversations to the table. The new Decision Point Dialogues Group, located at http//go.asme.org/STEMdialogues, provides a forum for ASME Participants to engage with the STEM topic by posting their perspectives and asking pressing questions. The Dialogue itself is being presented as a five-part video series viewable directly in the Group three of the videos have already been posted, and the final two will be available on July 1 and July 15, respectively. In addition to offering a drehort for discussing the videos and STEM themes, the Decision Point Dialogues Group page offers video clips of several Dialogue participants including ASME Past President Madiha El Mehelmy Kotb, Ioannis Mialoulis of the Museum of Science in Boston, and the sessions moderator, Emmy- and Peabody-Award-winning journalist John Hockenberry as well as blog posts from Alan Brown, associate editor of Mechanical Engineering magazine. The Group also provides context on the topic through curated links to related content and links to videos from last years inaugural Decision Point Dialogues discussion, which examined the question Will Engineers Be True Global Problem Solvers? More exclusive content is planned for the upcoming weeks, so be sure to join the Decision Point Dialogues Group now to get updates straight to your personalized Dashboard.
